Hello again ladies! I have been away for a bit. I just had a knee replacement surgery but am doing ok. That said, it takes a number of weeks for recovery but I hope to be able to explore this platform and figure things out. :) And maybe we can learn more about each other. To start, I’ll just say I am a healthy (now that I have the new knee..ha) senior. I’m 70. I am a retired teacher, married, I have four adult daughters, and eight grandchildren. I am a very busy retiree. I do mixed media art (very interested in journal making), like thrifting, play violin, crochet, read, etc. And honestly wasn’t even sure I should add another thing to my schedule. And it is possible some may want a troop of gals closer to their age if younger. I’ve even seen that you don’t have to belong to a troop. Nothing anyone chooses will offend me in the least. We’re all just getting started right? I love life, being able to be creative, making new friends, and on! I found out about this from one of my many art friends who wants to start a troop but she lives in another state. I guess it is possible to be in a troop that has members all over? So, after all of the above, I’m exploring all possibilities! 😊
